Shannon Brown came to the defense of his new boo and goes on rumor control. Earlier this week it was said that Monica had broken up Shannon's happy home with his girlfriend of 7 years and baby's mother. Well yesterday he quickly went to her defense to say that that is in no way true on twitter.
I write this to set the record straight. Media deception makes unfair and false reports of the truth, and it does not bring out the best in ANYONE. On being a role model for women and the importance of female friends:Beyonce: "I think I am a feminist in a way. It’s not something I consciously decided I was going to be; perhaps it’s because I grew up in a singing group with other women, and that was so helpful to me. Me, I’m good, figured I’d update my glorious fans again. Better sooner than later right? I’ll try to do this more frequently.
Well ain’t nothing going on in here but the time, which seems like it’s taking forever. I’m trying to make the most out of every second tho, mentally. There’s some pretty cool people in here. Exactely one day after she was released from the hospital following her "alleged sucide attempt" she met up with the very same guy the incident went down over. On Tuesday FY was one of the first places to break the news that former American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino was hospitalized for a medication overdose. Well now we have the official 911 phone call and this makes you wanna get down and pray for Tasia. The caller is a man who sounds just like her big brother Rico.
"911 Operator: Is she awake?
Caller: Slowly losing consciousness
911 Operator: Is she awake?
Caller: Barely"
During the call to 911, the caller tells the operator that family members found Barrino losing consciousness and wanted to help keep her awake.
"911 Operator: Where is she now?
Caller: In the shower

Caller: Yeah, the family tried to put her in the shower to keep her awake.

Well yesterday Media Take Out released a new piece of information that makes this story get dirtier and dirtier every second. This is all he say - she say right now ,but I at least want ya'll to here it from us. Well the rumors have it that the real reason Fantasia 'attempted suicide ' was because the married man she was having a relationship with left her and his estranged wife still plans to sue Tasia for breaking up her home. I guess what really hurts so much is that she has his name tatted on her (yes that 'Cook' tatto is his name). Now like I said this is all specualtion so take the information how you want,but I now think it's time for people to back off and let her grow up on her own. She clearly needs all of our prayers and support so like I said on Tuesday we are all praying for you.

Everytime I see Terrence J I try to figure out what makes him so damn sexy. Is it the fact that he is intelligent, a sweetheart, he looks gorgeous ( Gucci Mane voice) or has a job? It's just too hard to choose, but when I heard what he did in Hati, I proclaimed to the world and myself, that he was going to be my future boyfriend. So what happened was, Terrence and a few friends went to Hati to sort of see what they could do to help relief efforts and to see had already been done. Meeting Sophia last week made me realize just how blessed my life really is. And while I talk about issues on TV and preach to others to go out and make a difference, lately I’ve been asking myself, what am I really doing to make the world a better place?
I just got back from a three day trip to Haiti with four of my friends to see firsthand the hardship compounded by the devastation from the earthquake, lend a hand where we could, and figure out what we could do on a larger scale going forward.
The trip was nothing short of life changing. I thought I had seen poverty before, but what we saw in Haiti was on a whole different level. In a country of 9 million people, over 1.5 million (that’s 17% of the population!) were displaced by the earthquake, and the widespread damage has not much improved in the last six months.
Close to one million people are now living in extremely cramped conditions called “tent cities” all over Haiti without basic human needs – shelter, food, clean water, and the ones we take for granted – bathrooms, showers, clothing and beds.
The stalls in the cities reserved for bathing are hotbeds for rape and there are no outhouses so people just go to the bathroom right out in the open next to where they sleep. According to the directors of the tent cities whom we spoke with, there has been no food and water relief from the government and many people are starving. One of many heart breaking moments came when a pregnant woman approached us for food and we had to turn her away because we had passed out all the granola bars and trail mixes we had brought from the States. The look of defeat in her face will stay with me forever.
We drove to a plot of land three hours outside of the capital to help a private citizen named Annie from California to build two model homes, and teach the people in that tent city to build their own going forward. Like the old saying goes, “give a man a fish and he’ll eat for one night, but teach a man to fish and he’ll eat for life” However, the building supplies she shipped were being held at a port in customs. The main boss at the port was looking for a payoff and whatever she was offering clearly wasn’t enough. As a matter of fact, a lot of the supplies and aid that people have sent down for relief is being held in containers in customs, basically for ransom. As if an already poor country getting hit by a major earthquake wasn’t enough, on top of it many well intentioned relief efforts aren’t even making it to the people in need because of the blatant corruption.
There is so much to be done and I’ve been asking myself what some bigger next steps can be. So next week I'll be taking some time off 106 to travel back to Haiti and also to Europe to meet with UN leaders and ambassadors to better understand how we can help from a global perspective. One thing I can do in the interim is reach out to people via forums like this to challenge you to try to make a difference in your own communities. With a roof, food, clean water, and clothes on our backs we are more fortunate than millions. If you are reading this online you are one of the privileged. Please ask yourself, what are you giving back to the world for your blessings? You don’t have to be Oprah, Wyclef, or Angelina Jolie to make a positive impact on others. If it’s making an extra sandwich and giving it to the homeless person you always see on the subway, or volunteering with children whose parents can’t afford tutoring, you and your friends can create your own personal missions if you just try.
And take my word for it, whatever you give, whatever you donate, your interaction with people less fortunate than you will make your life that much richer. I went on this trip to help the people of Haiti, but came back feeling like they helped me. I am a better person today than I was last week. Before I did things for money, I did them for fame, I did them for the "look." Today, I’m doing this for the Sophia's of the world. Join me...

Over the last few weeks there have been alot of names being thrown around about who is joining AI. Maybe just the biggest name that was mention was Jennifer Lopez, well sorry to dissapoint but she is not going to be apart of the show. Reports state that because of her ridiculous demands the deal fell through. If you think about it, this story is not hard to believe. If you remember that was why venues didn't want her to perform, because she went into diva mode asking for more than she deserved. Very often have ball players gotten a few dollars and forget the ones that had their backs in the beginning, specifically the girlfriends. Well it seems that LeBron knows that he has it good. In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine he and longtime girlfriend talk about the dynamic of their relationship:

To clear up the homewrecker, sextape scandal Fantasia’s manager released a statement. If you ask me things still seem foggy but this is what had to be said about the rumors:Fantasia is certain that she is not responsible for the deterioration of the Cook's marriage.
Fantasia will weather this Storm with the dignity and grace that she has exemplified throughout a life in which she has repeatedly overcome obstacles and challenges.
Fantasia's faith in God, herself and family remain as strong as ever.

Ne-Yo recently gave an interview with The Sun "newspaper" and we on the record about relationship with he and his baby momma When I asked about his relationhip with her he said, "I have a friend. Not a girlfriend. She's carrying my child but knows I can't commit. She doesn't mind other women."
